Halloween and Fall Harvest

My Sweet little Sweeping Bweety!

We have Curious George, Two Black scarey guys who carried their pillow cases and got far too much candy, Little Boo Peep, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty.

Yes, this was a Jolly Holiday with Bert! We had so much fun.

This is our cute little Smurfett! She stole everyone's hearts! Her wig stayed on for about 5 seconds.

Oh, how I love this time of year. It's been especially busy with the prosperous canning season. I ran out of jars after bottling over 500 quarts of food and my sweet neighbor gave me all her ball jars! I still have applesauce to do and maybe some apple juice. The family has pitched in alot with picking fruit and carrying full jars down the stairs into the food room for me.

Halloween was a blast and the partying continued on all throughout the weekend as Halloween was on a Monday. The kids didn't have school so we picked fruit during the day, all the girls and my neighbors and their girls made tootoos out of netting, and then got ready for parties at the house for Mike and Nate in the evening. We made donutes, applefritters, and hot wassell. It was a wonderful time. Har and I even won the ward costume contest as we were Mary Poppins and Bert. It was a jolly holiday!
