Christmas

The older three kids helped Santa this year at the cities "Lighting Ceremony". Here is some of the 35 members of the Youth Council.

The "real" Santa checked his list, and luckily the kids were on the nice list. Becca wants a dolly.

The Lighting Parade is always a family favorite! There were so many new animals this year! The girls loved the princesses and the boys loved all the dragons!

Even our littlest one thinks winter isn't so bad. She loves being pulled around in a sled!

The first snow brought much excitement! It was still so warm and the snow heavy...perfect for SNOWMEN!!

Gingerbread Houses this year with green roofs... The pan for the roofs simply got left too long in the pan, and wouldn't come out without breaking. It really added more color to our Gingerbread villiage!

This is the day... the tree is up, christmass carols playing, and sung along too, and all the decorations! What excitement.

Festival of the Trees is such a wonderful thing.... our children took part as they sanded blocks to be made into "bags of blocks" for the gift boutique there. The children thought it neat that all the money would go to the sick children at the Hospital!

Getting ready for Christmas is always the best part. Here Johnny helpes Jared and Nate plant a real Christmas tree that they will enjoy for years to come!

  1. Patti, You are such a great mom! I read your Christmas letter today and I thought I would check out your blog. You are such an amazing mother. Dave and I have been talking a lot about our future children and I can't help but think of you and Harry and the amazing parents that you are. You get your kids involved in great activities and you teach them what Heavenly Father would want you to. You are a great example to Dave and I. We are so blessed to have you as an example to look up to.
